V4DIS 2009 part of the ISSS conference once again

At the beginning of April (6–7 April, 2009) there will be within the twelfth year of the ISSS conference, which is one of the most significant meetings of the representatives of public administration with experts on informatization of society and suppliers of modern technologies and services in Europe, held already for the sixth time also Visegrad conference V4DIS (Visegrad Four for Developing Information Society).

This prestigious event supported by the International Visegrad Fund was part of the ISSS conference for the first time in the year 2004 and since then it has shown remarkable interest among representatives of public administration, self-government as well as representatives of associations of municipalities and regions from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary and even from a number of other countries, which neighbour on Visegrad region. This year of the conference like the previous one will be held under the personal auspices of the President of Senate of the Parliament of CR Přemysl Sobotka, who in the course of the opening ceremony of the conference in 2008 emphasized mainly the fact that there was enough space "for practical incentives and practical work experience".

The participants of the previous years of the V4DIS conference also annually appreciate extensive possibilities of international exchange of experience in the area of informatization of public administration and that is mainly with regard to the fact that V4 states represent countries with common history, similar economic potential and equal position within the European Union.
