The programme schedule of the coming conference V4DIS 2012 will not lack information about the project Local Digital Agenda in the V4 Countries (LDA) which has been in progress already since the second half of the year 2011. The International Visegrad Fund takes part in the realization of this project in the form of a strategic grant and it is aimed mostly at presentation of successful e-government projects in CR in the context of European as well as national strategies and at the mutual exchange of experience. The project by all means includes also discussions about further development of electronization of public administration in the V4 countries, comparison of key items in the national strategies and programmes and definition of opportunities for further development as well as planning further steps and support as well as promotion of the working cooperation at the level of Visegrad countries.

“Presentation at the broader international field, acquiring new and updating older contacts as well as taking part in negotiations and discussions are perceived as a very important part of our effort to secure faster development of informatization of society and progress in the area of e-government,” says István Zachariáš, lord mayor of Slovak town Moldava nad Bodvou. “Not less interesting for us there is also a possibility of use of analyses and overview of situation in the whole Visegrad region, inspiration by examples of best practice or obtaining background of further work.”

In the LDA project there has taken an active part a number of deputies of self-governments of V4 countries, subjects that take part in the development of e-government and preparation of digital agenda, representatives of professional unions and associations. The main organizer is Vysočina Region and among partners there do not miss Association Czech At, ICT Union, SMO CR, Hradec Králové (CR), Bratislava, Moldava nad Bodvou, Nitra region, Union of Towns of Slovakia, Association Slovakia (SR), Alfa Omega Foundation, Radkow, Gdaňsk (Poland) and town Karcag (Hungary).
