V4DIS 2016–The Thirteenth Year of the Visegrad Conference
Simultaneously with the 19th year of the ISSS conference (April 4–5) there is held the traditional international conference V4DIS (Visegrad Four for Developing Information Society) in the Congress Centre Aldis in Hradec Králové already for the thirteen year. After a year the meeting of public administration representatives from the Visegrad Four countries will be again attended by a number of significant guests from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary as well as from other European countries. The personal auspices of the conference were granted similarly as in the previous years by the Vice President of the Senate of the Parliament of ČR Mr. Přemysl Sobotka.
The coming year will be again co-organized by the Vysočina Region. The conference meeting will be gala opened in the Visegrad lounge at 9 a.m. and behind the chair desk there will speak besides Přemysl Sobotka, also Jiří Běhounek, President of the Vysočina Region, General Secretary of the Union of Towns and Cities of Slovakia Marian Minarovič, the director of the ISSS/V4DIS conference Tomáš Renčín and other persons and representatives of public administration in the V4 region.
One of the very important guests of the Conference ISSS/V4DIS 2016 will be also EU Commissioner Věra Jourová, who has already confirmed her personal attendance and who is one of the members of so called “Digital Single Market Project Team”. She should participate actively in the programme on Monday, 4th April.
This year conference of public administration representatives from Visegrad countries is focused as usually on the current state of e-government in the V4 region. The first part of the conference programme takes place during Monday morning immediately after the gala opening and a number of speeches of the conference V4DIS 2016 participants was divided into various theme blocks within the whole two-day ISSS/V4DIS 2016 programme.
V4DIS 2016 conference programme will include as usual work presentations of young talented people who take an active part in the public administration and via the international competition JuniorErb they compare their own projects and exchange valuable experience. Also this year the awarded competitors will meet the representatives of state administration and local governments and they will be handed over memorial certificates by the Vice President of the Senate of the Parliament of ČR Přemysl Sobotka. During the day public administration representatives from the V4 countries will also take over prizes awarded within the traditional competition EuroCrest.
The main organizer of the twelfth year of the conference V4DIS is the Association Czech At and co-organizer is the Vysočina Region.
